Fast. Nimble. Sturdy. Functional. Fun.
All of these words can be used to describe the Quinn.
However, we are not about to embark on any marketing or sales pitch. Instead, we are going to revisit our award-winning (Red Dot Award: Design Concept 2015, iF Design Award 2016, and Taipei Cycle D&I Awards 2016) compact city bike and tell you why we designed it to be a problem solver of sorts and most importantly, why it YOU NEED IT!
NO MORE SWEATY BACKS
Don’t you hate it when a damp, sticky line appears on the back of your t-shirt or shirt after a ride with a bag slung across your body? As long as you carry a bag with a sling such as a messenger or laptop bag, this will happen. With the Quinn’s central cargo cage, sized to fit a myriad of similar-sized bags, sweaty lines will be a thing of the past
NO RUST AND OILY STAINS
We use Gates Carbon Drive for the Quinn’s drivetrain. In case you have been hiding under a rock the past few years, belt drive systems are THE best for commuting. The belts don’t need lubricating, won’t rust, and they last way longer than conventional chains which will get creaky and cranky, and corrode in time. You save time and money and spend more hours riding than on maintenance. The belts are made from a recipe of no-stretch carbon and are also smooth when in motion.
SIZED TO FIT YOUR DAILY LIFE
Measuring just 1.5m in length, we designed the Quinn for modern 21st anniversary city living. Because is its compact dimensions, it wheels easily into most lifts. There’s no need to prop up the front wheel and you don’t need to perform a delicate balancing act with the bike. It’s compact size also makes it incredibly nimble and manoeuvrable and a fit for the ladies.
ALL WEATHER, ALL YEAR LONG
We mentioned earlier about the Gates Carbon Drive belts. Actually, the other components are equally as weather-proof. Internal gear drive components, disc brakes and internal cable routing all add up to a user-friendly, almost zero maintenance ownership experience. Rain or shine, you can take the Quinn out for a ride and its wheels will just keep turning.
